The Powerful Owl - Australian Wildlife Documentary (2021-22)

The Powerful Owl utilises a similar story structure to My Octopus Teacher. Filmed over the course of 3 months during the 2021 Covid Lockdown in Sydney Australia, 'The Powerful Owl' is a 1-hour documentary about filmmaker David Luff documenting the lives of a family of Powerful Owls and their two Owlets. As he discovers and films their habits, learned behaviour and accomplishments, parallels are found within his own personal life.

The Real Love Boat - Australia & US Reality TV Series (2022)
Camera Assist and Camera Operator.
We spent 6 weeks on a cruise ship sailing the Mediterranean filming Season 1 for the Australian Network followed by Season 1 for CBS in the USA. During this time I helped assist 13 camera operators and was often operating a gimbal or 3rd camera for interviews and reality content. I also operated both the DSLR and GoPro underwater cameras, as well as rigged multiple GoPros for car scenes.

Life With Bats - Australian Wildlife Documentary (2022)
I created this short documentary in Sydney, following the story of wildlife carers looking after one of Australia’s most important species of animal. I was the Director, Writer, Producer and Cinematographer.

Inspector Jamshed - UAE Feature Film (2022)
This high end Feature Film has been shot in the United Arabic Emirates with DOP Mark Hobs. On this shoot I was B cam 2AC as well as A Cam backup operator, where I ended up operating all day on multiple shoot days.
Equipment: Arri LF, Arri Alexa Mini LF, Cook SS Full Frame Anamorphic 1.8x Primes.
People of Determination UAE TV Series (2021-22)
This large scale mini TV series was a 2.5 month project from December 2021 to February 2022. Shot in the UAE we created 3 mini Netflix series - Scattered Barriers, House of Life, and Dreams Drawn by Dust.
I camera operated under DOP Susan Lumsdon and mostly operated B Cam, though occasionally operated A Cam. This project was my first introduction into large scale Drama, and from here I fell in love with the Drama Industry.

Memoir - Nature short film (2021)
I created this short nature film which is about the wind’s observations along the eastern coastline of Australia. This film took home two ACS Gold Awards, including the National Gold Award for Student Cinematography in 2021. I handled all aspects of this project.

Cape Solander - Surfing short Documentary (2020)
On a whim I was invited out to document a surfer surfing Cape Solander ‘Ours’ for the first time. With minimal gear and prep time I managed to film this short documentary with great success, having reached over 30,000 views on Youtube.
Equipment: Sony RX10iii, DJI Mavic 3 Zoom, iPhone 10.
Pervert - TV Series (2019-2021)
This low budget TV show (currently in the marketing phase) was one of my first film set jobs in Sydney in the camera department. I started off as a 2nd AC, then became the 1st AC pulling focus and occasionally operated the camera for any handheld/readyrig/car shots. I learnt lighting from DOP Susan Lumsdon and enjoyed every aspect of this production.
